Our Purpose
The TCC was formed in 2003, to better train Constables of Tennessee,higher standards, up grade, and better working relations with Local Law Enforcement. To over see the Constables in each County to get the training they need. To help the Constable as needed; to investigate of wrong doings; To support the Constable, and to uphold the Office of Constable.
The purpose of the corporation shall be to solicit, encourage and coordinate the mobilization of Constables support in securing greater professional recognition and benefits for the individual member Constable Officer and for the dependents and survivors of member Constable Officers.
Our Mission
The mission of the Tennessee Constable Commission is to strengthen the office of constable by establishing higher standards, better training, more interagency co-ordination and a review board for disciplinary problems of constables with little or no cost to the State.
OUR GUIDELINES
The Law of the State of Tennessee is the cause for the TCC as a teaching organization and training center in order to maintain the 40-hour requirement for continuing education for Constables.
TCC was formed in 2003 for the Tennessee Constable, for better training and upgrade with the laws, for better service.
Each year each Constable must complete the 40-hour in service training to maintain the Office of Constable.
TCC wants to restore the Tennessee Constables, the only Elected Office with no cost to the Taxpayers.
TCC will work for the better of the Office of Constable; this can only be strong if all bond together and work together. We need strong Officers and Leaders that believe in the Office, and the people they serve.
This corporation is not a religious corporation.
